For the past month, April has been consistently sleeping through the night - 10pm until 7am'ish. She's babbling a lot, making a lot of eye contact, and only seems to cry when she's very hungry.
She's sitting up and able to hold her head up by herself. And, rolling over is getting easier for her.
Nicholas has developed an interesting habit of not using contractions. For example, he'll say "do not" or "cannot" instead of "don't" or "can't." Even if we repeat what he says using the appropriate contraction, he'll avoid it when he repeats himself. A friend of ours, Erin, pointed out that it's actually a very powerful way to talk and it gets your attention. We'll see whether it lasts.
Nicholas has been riding his bike (with training wheels) more regularly and can peddle so fast that I have a hard time keeping up. He still falls off once in a while, but has gotten better at falling/jumping off without hurting himself. He does, though, have a strange habit of crashing into fixed objects because he seems to enjoy the moment of impact. Daredevil?
More as it happens...
